Lakshmi: Good evening, Saru.
Saraswathi: Good evening, Lakshmi. How are things going on?
Lakshmi: Good. What about you?
Saraswathi: Great.
Lakshmi: I read a story yesterday.
Saraswathi: I’m sure you’ve enjoyed it.
Lakshmi: The story was written in simple language. But I couldn’t make it out. I have a question. Will you please throw light on it?
Saraswathi: Yes, I will.
Lakshmi: In the story, a gentleman has a dream. In his dream he visits a shop. A glass-fronted, beautiful but nameless shop. There is an angel at the counter.
Saraswathi: An angel in a shop, a fantastic story. Please go on.
Lakshmi: ‘What do you sell?’ the man asks. ‘Everything you deserve,’ the angel replies.
Saraswathi: I see!
Lakshmi: ‘I want peace,’he says. The angel says, ‘We don’t sell fruits here. We sell only seeds.’ For me this is a hard nut to crack.
Saraswathi: Quite easy to understand!
Lakshmi: How?
Saraswathi:Thoughts are the seeds. Fruits lie in the deeds.
Lakshmi: Interesting!
Saraswathi: Fill your mind with pure, potent and positive thoughts. If you fill your mind and heart with love, you’ll love others. You’ll be loved by others. You’ll not hate others. You’ll not be hated. You’ll not be jealous of others. You’ll not be greedy. You’ll not be angry. You’ll enjoy the fruit – peace of mind.
Lakshmi: Yes, you’re right. Yesterday I got very angry with my sister. I shouted at her. I flew into a rage. And I was upset the whole day.
Saraswathi: Your blood pressure must have shot up, too.
Lakshmi: Yes. I had a headache the whole night.
Saraswathi: And so is it with greed and envy.
Lakshmi: You are a scholar!
Saraswathi: ‘As you sow, so will you reap.’ One more thing. If you are content with what you have, you’ll not be disgruntled. You’ll be peaceful and happy.
Lakshmi: Is it easy to train my mind?
Saraswathi: Yes. You can nurture your mind with determined practice.
Lakshmi: Saru, you’re a fount of wisdom. Thank you for your guidance. Bye.
Saraswathi: It’s my pleasure. Bye.

The news was: Satyam had fallen into a river. In the river he walked ahead and found himself in a beautiful garden. He heard the sweet voice of a graceful girl. He went near the girl and said, ‘Let’s be friends.’
Satyam came out to meet the crowd. Thereporters took out their pads and pens. They were eager to know about the incredible, wonderful incident.
Their first question: ‘Sir, how did you fall into the river?’
Satyam: ‘River? I didn’t fall into any river. I fell into a reverie. I mean REVERIE !, a state of being pleasantly lost in his thoughts, almost like dreaming.
