PM Modi | ప్రధాన మంత్రి నరేంద్ర మోదీ (PM Modi) థాయ్‌లాండ్‌ (Thailand) పర్యటనకు వెళ్లారు. రెండు రోజుల పర్యటన నిమిత్తం ఇవాళ థాయ్‌ రాజధాని బ్యాంకాక్‌ (Bangkok) చేరుకున్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ప్రధానికి అక్కడ ఎయిర్‌పోర్ట్‌లో ఘన స్వాగతం లభించింది.

థాయ్‌లాండ్‌ ప్రధాని పేటోంగ్టార్న్‌ షినవత్ర (Paetongtarn Shinawatra) ఆహ్వానం మేరకు ప్రధాని మోదీ థాయ్‌ పర్యటకు వెళ్లారు. ఇవాళ, రేపు ఆ దేశంలో పర్యటించనున్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా పేటోంగ్టార్న్‌తో భేటీ కానున్నారు. ఏప్రిల్‌ 4వ తేదీన బ్యాంకాక్‌లో జరగనున్న ‘బే ఆఫ్‌ బెంగాల్‌ ఇనీషియేటివ్‌ ఫర్‌ మల్టీ సెక్టోరల్‌ టెక్నికల్‌ అండ్‌ ఎకనామిక్‌ కోఆపరేషన్‌’ (BIMSTEC) కూటమి సమావేశంలో పాల్గొంటారు. ఈ సమావేశంలో వాణిజ్యం, పెట్టుబడులు, నైపుణ్యాభివృద్ధి వంటి అంశాలంపై దేశాధినేతలతో చర్చించనున్నారు.

ఇక థాయ్‌లాండ్‌ పర్యటనను ముగించుకొని ప్రధాని ఏప్రిల్‌ 4న శ్రీలంక వెళతారు. ఏప్రిల్‌ 6వ తేదీ వరకూ ఆ దేశంలో పర్యటించనున్నారు. ఆ దేశాధ్యక్షుడు అనురకుమార దిసనాయకే గతేడాది భారత్‌లో పర్యటించిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆయన ఆహ్వానం మేరకు మోదీ శ్రీలంక పర్యటనకు వెళ్లబోతున్నారు. మోదీ తన పర్యటనలో రెండు దేశాల మధ్య కుదిరిన పలు ఒప్పందాలపై చర్చించనున్నారు.
