C-295 Aircraft | దేశంలోనే ప్రైవేట్ రంగంలో మొట్టమొదటి యుద్ధ విమానాల తయారీ కర్మాగారం అందుబాటులోకి వచ్చింది. గుజరాత్‌లోని వడోదర (Vadodara)లో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన సి-295 ( C-295 Aircraft) సైనిక రవాణా విమానాల ఉత్పత్తి కర్మాగారాన్ని (C-295 Aircraft Manufacturing Facility) ప్రధాన మంత్రి నరేంద్ర మోదీ (PM Modi) ప్రారంభించారు. స్పెయిన్‌ ప్రధాన మంత్రి పెడ్రో సాంచెజ్‌ (Pedro Sanchez)తో కలిసి సోమవారం ఉదయం ఈ కర్మాగారాన్ని గ్రాండ్‌గా లాంచ్‌ చేశారు.

టాటా అడ్వాన్డ్స్‌ సిస్టమ్స్‌ లిమిటెడ్‌కు చెందిన ఈ కర్మాగారానికి 2022లో ప్రధాని మోదీ శంకుస్థాపన చేసిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. భారత్‌కు మొత్తం 56 సి-295 యుద్ధ విమానాల సరఫరాకు 2021 సెప్టెంబరులో రూ.21,935 కోట్ల మేర స్పెయిన్‌తో ఒప్పందం కుదిరింది. ఇందులో భాగంగా 16 విమానాలు స్పెయిన్‌లోని ఎయిర్‌బస్‌ సంస్థ అందజేయనుండగా.. మిగతావి వడోదర యూనిట్‌లోనే తయారవుతాయి. ఇక ఈ ఒప్పందంలో భాగంగా స్పెయిన్‌కు చెందిన ఎయిర్‌బస్‌ డిఫెన్స్‌ అండ్‌ స్పేస్‌ తయారు చేసిన సి-295 మీడియం టాక్టికల్‌ ట్రాన్స్‌పోర్ట్‌ విమానం గతేడాది సెప్టెంబర్‌లో వాయుసేన అమ్ములపొదిలోకి చేరిన విషయం తెలిసిందే.

ప్రైవేట్ క‌న్సార్టియం ఆధ్వర్యంలో భార‌త్‌లో త‌యార‌య్యే తొలి సైనిక విమాన ప్లాంట్ ఇదే కావ‌డం గ‌మ‌నార్హం. సి-295 అత్యాధునిక రవాణా విమానంగా పేరొందింది. ఈ విమానంలో 71 మంది సైనిక ద‌ళాల‌ను, 50 పారాట్రూప‌ర్లను ఇది చేర‌వేస్తుంది. ప్రస్తుత బ‌రువైన విమానాలు వెళ్లలేని ప్రాంతాల‌కు సైతం సీ-295 ఎయిర్‌క్రాఫ్ట్‌లు యుద్ధసామాగ్రిని, సైనికుల‌ను సుల‌భంగా త‌ర‌లిస్తాయి.

సుదీర్ఘకాలంగా వైమానిక దళంలో సేవలు అందిస్తోన్న ఆవ్రో-748 విమానాల స్థానంలో వీటిని ప్రవేశపెట్టనున్నారు. కాగా, సి-295కు సంబంధించిన విడి భాగాల ఉత్పత్తి హైదరాబాద్‌లోని ‘మెయిన్‌ కన్‌స్టిట్యూయెంట్‌ అసెంబ్లీ’లో ఇప్పటికే ప్రారంభమైంది. వీటిని వడోదర యూనిట్‌కు తరలించి, అక్కడే తుది కూర్పు జరుగుతుంది.
