SCR | ఇటీవల కురిసిన భారీ వర్షాలకు మహబూబాబాద్‌ జిల్లా ఇంటికన్నె – కేసముద్రం మధ్య రైల్వే ట్రాక్‌ భారీగా దెబ్బతిన్న విషయం తెలిసిందే. ఆ తర్వాత దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వే అధికారులు పునరుద్ధరణ పనులు చేపట్టారు. దాదాపు 52 గంటల్లో రైల్వే ట్రాక్‌ పనులు పూర్తి చేశారు. వరదలతో ధ్వంసమైన రైల్వేట్రాక్‌ను వెయ్యి మంది వరకు కార్మికులు రాత్రింభవళ్లు శ్రమించి పునరుద్ధరణ పనులు చేపట్టారు. అప్‌లైన్‌ మార్గంలో రైల్వేట్రాక్‌ పునరుద్ధరణ పనులు పూర్తి కాగా.. డౌన్‌లో అర్ధరాత్రి వరకు పనులు పూర్తికానున్నాయని దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వే తెలిపింది. అప్‌మార్గంలో ట్రాక్‌ పునరుద్ధరణ పనులు పూర్తి కాగా.. దీంతో రైళ్ల రాకపోకలు మళ్లీ ప్రారంభించినట్లు దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వే తెలిపింది.

విజయవాడ – హైదరాబాద్‌ మధ్య రైలు సర్వీసులు పునః ప్రారంభమయ్యాయి. వరంగల్‌ మీదుగా వెళ్లే రైళ్లను అధికారులు పంపుతున్నారు. మొదట ట్రయల్‌ రన్‌గా విజయవాడ నుంచి గోల్కొండ ఎక్స్ప్రెస్ రైలును అధికారులు పంపించారు. భారీ వర్షాల నేపథ్యం ఇటీవల రద్దు చేసిన పలు రైళ్లను దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వే రీషెడ్యూల్‌ చేసింది. ఇందులో హైదరాబాద్‌ -పాట్నా (07255) ఎక్స్ప్రెస్, సికింద్రాబాద్ – విశాఖపట్నం (12740) గరీబ్‌రథ్‌ ఎక్స్ప్రెస్, హైదరాబాద్‌ – విశాఖపట్నం(12728) గోదావరి ఎక్స్ప్రెస్, సికింద్రాబాద్ – సిర్పూర్‌ కాగజ్‌నగర్‌ (17233) భాగ్యనగర్‌ ఎక్స్ప్రెస్, లింగంపల్లి – సీఎస్‌టీ ముంబయి (17058) దేవగిరి ఎక్స్ప్రెస్, సికింద్రాబాద్ – త్రివేండ్రం (17230) ఎక్స్ప్రెస్, సికింద్రాబాద్ – గుంటూరు (17202) రైళ్లను రీషెడ్యూల్‌ చేసినట్లు తెలిపింది. వీటితో పాటు చెన్నై సెంట్రల్‌ – ఎస్‌ఎంవీడీ కత్రా (16031), త్రివేండ్రం – నిజాముద్దీన్‌ (02443) రైళ్లను పునరుద్ధరించినట్లు పేర్కొంది.
