న్యూఢిల్లీ: కార్గిల్‌ విజయ్‌ దివస్ (Kargil Vijay Diwas) సందర్భంగా యుద్ధంలో ప్రాణాలు అర్పించిన అమరులకు దేశవ్యాప్తంగా ఘనంగా నివాళులర్పిస్తున్నారు. భారత భూభాగాన్ని ఆక్రమించాలనుకున్న పాక్‌ కుట్రలను తమ తెగువతో ఇండియన్‌ ఆర్మీ అడ్డుకున్నది. ఆపరేషన్‌ విజయ్‌ పేరుతో కార్గిల్‌ యుద్ధాన్ని ప్రారంభించి శత్రు సైనికులను తరమికొట్టింది. ఇది జరిగి శనివారంతో 26 ఏండ్లు పూర్తయ్యాయి. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో జమ్ముకశ్మీర్‌లోని ద్రాస్‌లో వార్‌ మెమోరియల్‌ వద్ద వారి కుటుంబ సభ్యులు పుష్పాంజలి ఘటించారు. విద్యార్థులు, స్థానికులతో కలిసి కేంద్ర మంత్రి మన్సుఖ్‌ మాండవీయ, రక్షణ శాఖ సహాయ మంత్రి సంజయ్‌ సేథ్‌ పాదయాత్ర నిర్వహించారు. అనంతరం కార్గిల్‌ వీరులకు నివాళులు అర్పించారు.

కేంద్ర మంత్రి రాజ్‌నాథ్‌ సింగ్‌ కూడా కార్గిల్‌ అమరవీరులకు ఎక్స్‌ వేదికగా నివాళులర్పించారు. మన దేశాన్ని రక్షించడం కోసం అత్యంత కఠినమైన భూభాగాల్లో అసాధారణ ధైర్యం, దృఢ సంకల్పంతో పోరాడి ప్రాణాలు త్యాగం చేసిన వీర జవాన్లకు నివాళులర్పిస్తున్నా. కార్గిల్‌ యుద్ధంలో వారి త్యాగం, మన సాయుధ దళాల అచంచల సంకల్పానికి నిదర్శనం, వారికి ఈ దేశం ఎప్పటికీ రుణపడి ఉంటుంది అని ట్వీట్ చేశారు. ఢిల్లీలోని నేషనల్‌ వార్‌ మెమోరియల్‌ వద్ద పుష్పగుచ్చం ఉంచి ఘనంగా నివాళులు అర్పించారు.
