Schools will start from Thursday. Government and private schools will open on June 12 after the summer vacation. Schools are welcoming students who enjoyed the summer vacation with many problems.
Many schools in the state are in disrepair. Broken benches, dirty walls, smelly bathrooms, dark rooms without electricity, compound walls without gates, playgrounds overgrown with weeds, and schools that have not been painted or floored since construction is complete are a welcome sight for school children.
The BRS government has introduced the Amma Adarsh scheme, setting aside the Mana Ooru-Manabadi program. The work has not been completed in many schools selected under this scheme. In some schools, small problems are solved with the help of villagers and former students with the care of headmasters and teachers. Some teachers are saying that they are not concerned about them and why are they leaving them to us when the government does not care about them. Poor children have the desire to study and rise to higher positions. But the government itself neglects government schools. This is the situation in many schools across the state. See photos of the poor condition of some schools in Warangal.
