ఢిల్లీ: దేశ రాజధాని ఢిల్లీలో స్వల్ప భూకంపం (Delhi) వచ్చింది. సోమవారం ఉదయం 5.36 గంటలకు ఢిల్లీతోపాటు సమీప ప్రాంతాల్లో భూమి కంపించింది. రిక్టర్‌ స్కేలుపై దీని తీవ్రత 4.0గా నమోదయింది. భూమిలోపల 5 కిలోమీటర్ల లోతులో కదలికలు సంభవించాయని నేషనల్‌ సెంటర్‌ ఫర్‌ సీస్మోలజీ (NCS) తెలిపింది. తెల్లవారుజామునే భూకంపం రావడంతో ప్రజలు ఉలిక్కిపడ్డరు. ఇండ్ల నుంచి రోడ్లపైకి పరుగులు పెట్టారు.

కొన్ని సెకన్ల పాటు భూమి కంపించిందని ఎన్‌సీఎస్‌ వెల్లడించింది. ఢిల్లీలతోపాటు రాజధాని ప్రాంతంలోని నోయిడా, గురుగ్రామ్‌లో భూ ప్రకంపణలు చోటుచేసుకున్నాయని పేర్కొంది. భూకంపం వల్ల జరిగిన నష్టానికి సంబంధించిన సమాచారం ఇంకా తెలియరాలేదని అధికారులు చెప్పారు. ఢిల్లీలో భారీ భూకంపం వచ్చిందని, అంతా క్షేమంగా ఉండాలని ఆ భగవంతుడిని ప్రార్ధించినట్లు మాజీ ముఖ్యమంత్రి అతిశీ చెప్పారు. కాగా, ఆదివారం అర్ధరాత్రి 11.16 గంటలకు బంగాలాఖాతంలో భూమి కంపించింది. భూఅంతర్భాగంలో 35 కిలోమీటర్ల లోతులో ప్రకంపణలు వచ్చాయి.
